Open Question: What religion are you and why?

There are some religions which I can't understand why a logical person would be a member of due to their various teachings (not naming them). So I want to understand. I am religious though always questioning my own beliefs. So why are you Christian (any group: Baptist, Protestant, Lutheran ), Muslim, Mormon, Atheist, Buddhist, Zoroastrian, Cao Dai, Agnostic, Jewish, Scientologist or any other religion? This is not a judging question, I'm just trying to understand. If you're offended by the question for some reason tell me why or don't answer. Thank you! =] : oh I know the belief system, but why are you Atheist is what I mean. Logic? Life experience? Schooling? That's what I mean. I want people to challenge my beliefs and tell me why they believe as they do. The thing is to address someone else: I know why I am a member of my political party.
